Cold Front: The Forecast

This afternoon the clouds are beginning to fill the blue skies. Southeast winds will persist through the afternoon and overnight, but should transition to sideshore/onshore flow in the next day or two.  It is pretty clear we have moved into a wintertime pattern, wouldn’t you say?  The skies are forecast to be partly cloudy and scattered clouds during the day, each day, through the end of the work week. Cold Front: Sunday, 11.20.16 Forecast

There is another epic cold front headed for the gulf coast.  What makes this cold front so unusual, you ask.  Well it is the northeast winds paired with solid surf, of course! This solid cold front is slated for Sunday.

This is a cold front surf forecast for Florida’s gulf coast.  This forecast will cover things like the waves, the weather, and the tides for Clearwater, Bradenton, and Venice.  It will discuss how these conditions will change through the duration of the swell.

Cold Front: Saturday, 10.22.16

On saturday, after the low drags the cool air mass across the gulf, we are still looking at a powerful 988 millibar low pressure system in the northeast, and a cold front boundary almost as far south as the Pacific Ocean.
