Winter in the Summer

We are now in the months of the year that usually are the least consistent for the entire state of Florida.  We are all sitting around waiting for that perfect storm.  We are waiting for that storm that sits 100 miles off the coast of category 3-5 strength.  We are waiting for long period groundswell with offshore winds.  We want these waves to pump with clean water and no jellies.  Many surfers and surf spots around the world get to experience this lull in the wave action around a certain period of the year.  Many places go for months at a time with no swell including parts of Puerto Rico and  Oahu. Be stoked on your epic surfing community and the surfers who you get to share the super fun waves you do get, with. Temper your frustration surfers.  And don’t fret, more waves are on the way. The gulf swell yesterday filled in at many of the best spots.
