Tropical Storm Colin

We went from having an outstanding Fall, Winter, and Spring, right into hurricane season.  Tropical Strom Colin is spinning in the northeast region of the Gulf of Mexico with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour.   The pressure at the center of the storm is 1001 millibars.  The tropical storm warning is still in effect from the panhandle all the way down to Englewood in southwest Florida, which means any of the areas in the scope mentioned could experience tropical storm conditions.

The following four images are sequence shots from a single wave.

The surf today included bouts of rain squalls, from light rain to heavy rain.  The wind has been reasonably mild, and the weather conditions were decent for the majority of the day.
