Surfing: Better than Sex

On this breezy January day the surf was pumping into the beach around 5 feet at 8 seconds from the west.  So far this month we have had a quickly cooling weather patter, but on this day, and for this time of year, the weather was mild until the afternoon when the temperatures took a quick dive.  The breeze was moderate and the water was reasonably warm.  The green water waves were lining up quite well and the rides were incredible. 1st Cold Front Sets the Pace for the Season

Based on this first front we can infer that the seasonal pattern will include two days of significant surf.  This front had a afternoon and evening of surf on the first day, then another day of similar surf on the following day that lasted well through the afternoon.
