Surf Outlook: Thursday, 06-16-2016

The water vapor loop image is a fair depiction of the winds we’ve had today in the gulf.  There’s just enough wind to make a rideable wave for a longboard or fun-shape surfboard.  By mid-day tomorrow the surf will rise to around waist high, a bit better for shortboards.  The GFS shows the waves coming directly from the west.
