Regional Surf Forecast: Cold Front

We’ll quickly cover west Florida, east Florida, the panhandle, and Texas.  West Florida and Panama City are seeing surf while the rest of the region goes flat.

West Florida

The gulf will get up to 20 knot of northwest winds tomorrow with a underlying swell from a west northwest direction.  The air temps will be in the 50s, with a high of 60°.  Our water is  at 62°.  At the coast the winds will be a bit lighter, northwest at 10-15. It’s going to be about waist to chest high, and mostly sunny.

Tuesday is about 2-3 feet at 6 seconds early in the morning.  It will still be ride-able.  The high temperature on Tuesday is 66°, so about 6 degrees warmer. Sunny.

East Florida

For the next 5 days the east coast is flat.

Panhandle

Panama City will be getting some surf from this cold front.  Tomorrow morning will be the time to surf.  The air temps will be in the 50s, the winds side-offshore from the northwest,  and the water temp is 60°.

Texas

Texas is flat behind this cold front.
