Gulf Surf

Surfing is one of the best pastimes on the planet.  The surfing community is kind and friendly.  The saltwater and marine ecosystems near the coast are

a healthy environment, which filter out pollution. As the population in Florida grows and as more people realize their love for surfing and this environment they will travel to the east coast to learn.  As more people become acquainted with the sport they seem to have a tendency to seek out places near their home that they can surf on a regular basis.  As this continues we will continue to see an influx of surfers, enjoying our most consistent places to surf, protected coves.

With windy conditions the majority of surfers opt for currentless conditions.  Finding a protected cove redirects currents running parallel to the coast.  Being able to extend your session by up to 4 more hours is one of the major benefits of finding a curretless cove.Cody Chivas

Our cove sancturies make surfing truly unique not only to the gulf but to the state of Florida.  Some of the very best surf spots in all of Florida are at cove sanctuaries, New Smyrna, Sebastion Inlet, Venice, just to name a few.

Jetties not only protect surfers from dangerous and exhausting rip currents but most of these spots create stand out waves when compared to other beaches nearby.

These spots provide a wonderful place to develop your surfing among experienced and knowledgeable surfers and it’s a great place for developing surfers to be socialized into the surfing environment.
