Dalton Smith and Corey Howell went for a cruise along the east coast of Florida to explore carnage left after Hurricane Matthew wreaked havoc along the coast. Trees were uprooted, railroad structures were damaged, streets were flooded, and property was damaged. Hurricane Matthew Makes Landfall: Sand Key Gallery

The gulf coast was going off today like it was wintertime. Large surf was exploding on the sandbars. Sand Key, aka the zoo, was packed as usual. It was hard to find a bit of shoulder room. Collisions were common and near brushes with death were frequent. The sandbar was shallow, the surf large, and the crowd maxing out.

Florida State of Emergency

The entire state of Florida is now in a state of emergency.  With each tack change the storm edges closer and closer to the Florida coast.  The current track is not a Florida direct hit,  but we still can not rule out a direct hit to Florida.  The east coast is going to get super gnar in the coming days.  Check out the executive order: Hurricane Matthew State of Emergency Executive Order
