Sand Key Surf Report: 8:12am

The surf is super small this morning. It is thigh high or less. Stay home. Despite the nearshore buoy with readings of northwest swell, the swell is just too north.Larger swell is stacking up within view, just a mile or two off the coast. It is just barely the wrong angle.  I guess we will just have to wait for the next one.  I hope you didn’t make the drive all the way down south only to get small surf.  I know I’ve made that mistake one time too many.  Hopefully you can find a decent wave.  Have a nice day.20170108_08090220170108_080800
