Radical Grommets

The falling temperatures and moderate breeze made this evening a beautiful one for sailing.  The water temperature is just warm enough for board-shorts.  And surprisingly, the surf from this cold front was ridable for shortboards.

These grommets were decimating the waves, absolutely terrorizing the lineup.  These radical surfers relentlessly destroyed the waves. Their familiarity with the waves and strength maneuvering the surfboard caught the attention of many onlookers.

Magnificent colors reflected off the breaking surf. Snowy Plovers were out cruising the shoreline, searching for dinner.  They are probably searching for sand fleas, small creatures that bury themselves in the sand.

The conditions were ideal for lightweight surfers.

The golden bath.
