More from Arthur:

One important concern for the New Symerna Beach community is, there are many people who visit the beach and are unconcerned or unaware of proper trash disposal while at the beach.  Suffice it to say it should be common sense.  Many people visit the beach by vehicle and sit on the beach near their car.  With visitors unwilling to return the trash to their vehicles and unaware of the trash cans nearby, garbage can frequently be found on the beach, with no one nearby to be responsible for the garbage.  During my trip, I noticed an empty water bottle lying on the sand dune behind my car, just faintly.  It would have been the responsible thing to pick it up and dispose of it.  If you see garbage on the beach, pick it up and throw it in a bin.
