July 2016 Surf

Super fun, long period surf pumped into the beaches all day. Honeymoon was going off with hardly anybody out.  The low tide was really lining up incredibly, however it wasn’t much of a low tide.  The low tide was one foot above sea level.  There was a noticeable wait in between sets, but not much of a wait considering it’s a long period swell. When the waves rolled through they would hit the top of the sandbar and just peel all the way down the beach.  It was like Snapper.  Actually, it kind of looked like New Smyrna’s right, a bit smaller of course.  This swell turned out to be a solid one. Hopefully something holds into tomorrow.
