There was a very big fin in the water today. Can anyone help me identify it? It was clearly not a dolphin. The curve was rather pronounced. It was narrow compared to a dolphin fin. I can’t recall the color. It seemed a darker color, though I’ve heard hammerhead fins are lighter. Likely a hammerhead following the tarpon around. Someone said the sharks are around. It looked like a solid 6+ footer whatever it was. This is the first time I’ve seen a decent size shark on a gulf beach while surfing. The guy next to me was completely unphased. We kept surfing like normal.

You need a big fin to come through to spice it up there on the Gulf side. Also, love those shots!
God I miss home! And I miss filming. But I’m not missing the heat!
Great stuff man.
Cool!
