The Rainy Season is Finally Here!

Usually, this time of year we’re just starting to reach a high level of fire threat. Things are really drying out. It usually works out. Just as it starts to dry out. The rainy season approaches about the same time every year. It’s a good indicator that summer is upon us. It’s that time of year again. The rainy season is fianlly here. As I write this it’s 7pm. I’m staring at a massive rain cloud closing in on my home. It’s already rained once today here. It’s sure to rain a torrential rain. This should continue for months as summer goes on. It’s nice and cool after a rain sometimes, while other times it can become disgustingly humid. It’s usually a fun time of year for water activities. You can expect a good solid rain during a hurricane to cool things off in the summer months. It’s the rainy season!

Double Rainbow in My Backyard

As I pulled down the home strech into my culdasac I was greeted by a double rainbow, one of the many rainbows I saw on the drive home this afternoon. The rainstorm was right along the edge of the coastal area. I was looking at a bright, clear sky to my left and a dark rainy storm above and to my right. It was a really cool drive down East Lake road.
