Cold Front: A Southwest Swell Comes Up This Evening (w/ 3:45p surf report).

It’s another beautiful day!   We’ve got another cold front knocking on our doorstep.  The low is right on the northern edge of the Gulf of Mexico.  The leading edge of the front is draped across pinellas county. It is perfect out; the temperatures actually rise some for the surf tomorrow. The high is 75° for Thursday.

Surf:  Expect rising southwest swell this evening up to around thigh high. We will probably have similar size ground-swell in the morning.
Water: 75°
Air: Currently 70°
Wind: SE at 20knots
Tides:
This Evening:
Honeymoon- 3:20pm-9pm (1 foot incoming)
Saint Pete: (.2 foot outgoing) till 4:45pm, then a 1 foot change through 11pm.
Morning:
4:30am – 11am (2 foot incoming)
11am – 4:15 (1 foot outgoing)

Regional: The east coast is about head high right now. It is choppy. The winds will be side onshore for the rest of the week. A few spots could be semi-clean. Texas has been fun over the past couple days, but with the northwest shift in the winds the the rest of the gulf is going flat. Cuba might be getting a decent wave.

3:45pm Report:
It is very small right now. Its about shin to knee high. Bring the fun shape if your going to surf.
